To allow me to truly capture your story, you need to not only like me, but feel comfortable sharing your story with me. It’s important that you trust me because we only get one chance to capture those fleeting moments together. So please, let me tell you a little bit about me…
I’m Italian, born in Milan and this is where I undertook my formal studies in photography. I was fortunate to be accepted into Bauer which is the oldest photography institute in Italy. I’m really passionate about photography as an art, heavily influenced by who I see are the masters of photography throughout the ages. My style is best described as photojournalistic with a creative edge.
As an artist it’s important for me to capture the story in a creative way, to get some real wow shots that will be treasured and stand the test of time.
I’ve been in the industry for over ten years now, working for a variety of clients throughout Europe, the Caribbean and Australia. It wasn’t too far into my career that I found a niche in sports photojournalism as it allowed me to combine elements of portrait, landscape, lifestyle and product photography to tell a story. This chapter of my life played a big role in my journey to truly understand how to construct a photograph to capture raw emotions and tell a story in a way that people really connect with it.
It was whilst on assignment in the Italian alps that I met an Aussie girl on holiday. Fast forward several years and here we now are living in her home town on the north coast of Australia with our young family. I not only offer my services locally here in Australia, but continue to travel wherever it is in the world that a story may take me.
When I’m not working, I’ll still be taking photographs because I can’t help myself. You’ll also find me in the kitchen cooking up an Italian storm for family and friends, enjoying some fresh air on my mountain bike, or just relishing in the everyday affairs of family life. I’m well known for my wood fired pizza, enjoying a good drop of red wine, and even joining in at my three year old daughter’s dancing classes!
